What is Orga Ion system SEV?

Orga Ion System has made it possible to ionize materials (gas, liquid, and solid) by combining metal with radium ore. Orga Japan Inc set out its research with the idea "Could we change the air itself rather than mechanically modifying parts and devices?" After more than 20 years research and development on ionizing technology, they finally have achieved amazing result of increasing power level without making any mechanical changes on the existing automobile system. Although primary application is to intake and exhaust, this ionizing technology also can be applied to many materials including metal, rubber, and oil. Application of SEV to suspension, drive train system, brake system, and tires results in a material improvement of each system. The proof of the benefit of SEV system is found in the Formula Nippon car racing.

Application to intake. SEV ionizes oxygen molecule (O2) in the intake into two separate O atoms. This change sharply reduces the heat loss produced by mixing oxygen with fuel. Furthermore, the air is collection of molecule. As such, the air produces some friction (resistance) when it travels inside of intake. The higher the rev of a motor becomes, the bigger the friction will be and the higher the resistance of the air movement in the intake. SEV ionizes the oxygen reducing the friction and the same time increasing the efficiency of combustion.

Application to exhaust. SEV produces a difference of electric potential at the place it is installed. That difference generates a pulling force and the exhaust flow becomes more efficient. The impact on the motor from the exhaust pressure is significantly reduced. You can hear the difference simply paying attention to the change on motor noise.

Prices are varied depending on the application. Racing version is currently not available until early June.

How much horsepower increase can you expect?
Based on Junich (J's racing president)'s experience, SEV regular set adds 6 to 10 horse power to S2000, and Racing special version will increase the horse power by 15 to 20 with J's raicng reprogrammed N1 computer..
