Carbon brake rotor -- road race version

Introduced at Tokyo Auto Show in January 2004, the rotors pictured above has 355mm (14 inch) diameter.

Currently, it is under a performance test stage and still needs a fine tuning by trial and error. The only test left after the current stage is an endurance test.

The sale date has been again postponed to the middle of 2004. We are very sorry for this delay.

Main features

(1) The friction myu starts rising at the room temperature and produces excellent control.

(2) Even with water on the surface of the rotor, the braking power and controllability is superior to iron rotors.

(3) The weight is appox. 60 % lighter than an iron rotor.

(4) The wear resistance and durability are excellent.

(5) It can be used with aftermarket performance pads. (No carbon/carbon pad is necessary)

(6) The planned application diameter is 280mm to 380mm.
